XIA SHOES CASE STUDY
ROLE
As a UI Designer for an e-commerce website, my main objective was to create a seamless user experience for customers. Through extensive research and user testing, I was able to design a wonderful and easy-to-use interface that improved the overall usability of the application.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
To address the problem of a complex checkout process, I simplified it by reducing the number of steps and clearly labeling each section.
To make the search simple and straightforward, I implemented a predictive search feature that would suggest relevant products as the user typed. I also added filters to the search results page so customers could easily narrow down their search.
APPROACH
One of the key challenges was optimizing the checkout process. After thorough user research, I realized that many e-commerce websites do not have an easy checkout process. Many users, especially the elderly would find it difficult to use it. To address this, I simplified the checkout process by reducing the number of steps and clearly labeling each section.
Another challenge was the search functionality. To make it simple, I implemented a predictive search feature that would suggest relevant products as the user typed. I also added filters to the search results page so customers could easily narrow down their search.
PROCESS
Firstly, I designed the low-fidelity wireframes.
Next, the choosing of colors and font. I wanted to improve the overall aesthetics of the application and make it more visually appealing. I chose a color scheme that is modern and cohesive as well as a font type that matched it perfectly.

RESULTS
Through the use of appealing colors, font, and images, I managed to design an e-commerce application which earned several positive reviews.

Add Animations: I would love to add animations to make the application more interesting which will enhance user experience.
